Siva Shakti Rasa Retreat - Maha Shivratri - Drupad Mela - Bhakti Prana Flow

Body of Love - Khajuraho + Kashai

An intimate Bhakti Rasa pilgrimage for Maha Shivratri ad Drupad Mela

with your mitra, Shiva Rea and Special Guest Artist Siva Kumar

We are returning to India for a soulful pilgrimage for Maha Shivratri to bathe in the Bhakti and enjoy the sunset to sunrise Drupad with the best artists in this oldest form of Indian classical music. In Khajuraho, we will meditate in the great Siva-Shakti temple and the ancient open air temple that held space for the 64 Yoginis

“O dear one, Sahaja flows from the heart lotus and freely vibrates above and below and dances in the Self as the Self”. - Sri Matsyendrenath

With the deepest respect, we enter the sacred world of the heart of tantra where some of the greatest art celebrating the love union of Siva-Shakti and tantric teachings of non-dual embrace echo through the ages.

This is not a “tour” and we will not be entering this journey as “tourist”.

Juicy Pre-reading will be suggested to understand the significance historically, spiritually and culturally
of our great pilgrimage centers -Khajuraho- Kashi- Varanasi separated now by a 30 min plane ride.

We will gather near in the western temples in the village energy of Khajuraho and within walking distance of our main pilgrimages to Sri Matangeshwara temple and Chausat Yogini (64 Yogini temple). We will be living in bhakti pilgrimage mode, temple exploration, meditation, moving in meditation, sacred text reading, namaskaram, gaze practice, mudra, pranayama and inner mantra japa.
in Varanasi, we open to the morning and evening rhythm to be immersed In Drupad Mela and our remeberance of Sri Ramakantji Gundecha and offer seva at our local Deepa Jyoti.

This is for an intimate group of hearty pilgrims who enjoy the full spectrum of life and want to touch the essence of a place in which days, hours, dissolve into profound moments.

May all your seed dreams of your greatest dharma be watered by grace and May they flower with great resilience in realization for all

In Varanasi, we will be staying on the peaceful banks of Ma Ganga in Assi Ghat and enjoy a rhythm of sunrise fire-ceremony, deep meditation, Bhakti Prana flow, temple darshan at the juiciest, holy sanctums, optional seva at Dipa Jyoti, daily bhakti pilgrimage and meditation-mantra with our local boat guides, philosophy study and chanting of Tantric hymns leading up to the great all-night wedding of Siva-Shakti. I am adding this mini-retreat to share this great Roots Yoga pilgrimage and to honor my teacher, Ramakantji and the living legends, the Gundecha brothers.
