Noemi, originally from Spain but based in London, first encountered Yoga while on her first trip to India in 2004. Since then she has been devoted to the study and practice of the different aspects of Yoga. Initially, she was introduced to traditional Hatha and Kriya Yoga in Benares by an Indian Yogini and throughThe Bihar School of Yoga. Later on she discovered Krishnamacharya’s linage through Ashtanga and Viniyoga. The intelligent way of sequencing in Vinyasa and the creativity to adapt the practice to the different situations and needs completely fascinated her.

Back in the UK, Noemi completed the 500hr British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma and studied with very inspiring teachers.

In 2011 she met Shiva Rea who completely transformed Noemi’s way of practising, teaching and living Yoga. Duringthe last seven years Noemi has been fully dedicated to the study, practice and sharing of Prana Vinyasa Flow through her teaching.

‘Prana Vinyasa resonates with me at every level. Although I had practiced other forms of Vinyasa before, it’s with Prana Vinyasa that I’ve found the connection with Prana in my practice and beyond.’

Noemi holds a degree in South Asian Studies (with focus on Yoga philosophy and Sanskrit) fromThe School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London). She also graduated recently froma Yoga Therapy and Philosophy course at Sadhana Mala within the Krishnamacharya- Desikachar’s tradition.

Noemi also has a lifelong passion for music and dance which is manifesting now in Kirtan (devotional singing and Harmonium), and Sahaja trance dance, which is something she would like to cultivate more in the future.
